So, if you made your assumption on what Secondary Food is after reading about Primary Food, or if you did not read the previous blog post and are just curious about what Secondary Food is, I am here to let you know! It's going to be a bit of a surprise, I think to those of you who did not get to see my post on Primary Food, but it is simple!
Drum roll please. . .Secondary Food is quite simply all of the foods that you eat and drink. So we are talking, water, juice, alcohol, smoothies, milk, salad, meat, fruit, grains, etc. You get the point! Eating healthy foods like fruits, veggies, protein, healthy fats, etc are just as crucial to our wellbeing as the parts of our Primary Food are. Having both sides be in balance or close to in balance is when we can start seeing our best selves come alive! It's not the concept that is hard to understand with all of this. I think what we as people have the biggest issue with, is finding ways to stay consistent. Because if we are honest, maintaining these things while wanting to eat things that taste unhealthy is hard! This is part of why I want to try and find a way to make healthy food taste unhealthy! Plus, finding ways to make it simple too, is super important!
