Secondary Food

Hello lovely!

How are you doing? I hope you are doing well! I am so glad it is finally summertime! The warm weather and summer activities just make my heart feel so happy and full! I am curious, is it hot where you live, or is it milder temperatures? And do you have any fun plans for your summer? Let me know in the comments here or under one of my recent social media posts! In this post today, I would like to tell you what Secondary Food is!

If you saw my last post, I told you about what Primary Food is! If you missed the post on Primary Food, you can view it by clicking here. So, if you made your assumption on what Secondary Food is after reading about Primary Food, or if you did not read the previous blog post and are just curious about what Secondary Food is, I am here to let you know! It's going to be a bit of a surprise, I think to those of you who did not get to see my post on Primary Food, but it is simple!

Drum roll please. . .Secondary Food is quite simply all of the foods that you eat and drink. So we are talking, water, juice, alcohol, smoothies, milk, salad, meat, fruit, grains, etc. You get the point! Eating healthy foods like fruits, veggies, protein, healthy fats, etc are just as crucial to our wellbeing as the parts of our Primary Food are. Having both sides be in balance or close to in balance is when we can start seeing our best selves come alive! It's not the concept that is hard to understand with all of this. I think what we as people have the biggest issue with, is finding ways to stay consistent. Because if we are honest, maintaining these things while wanting to eat things that taste unhealthy is hard! This is part of why I want to try and find a way to make healthy food taste unhealthy! Plus, finding ways to make it simple too, is super important!

I hope you enjoyed today's post! I can't wait to begin putting out more content around health, and fun healthy recipes! Until I see you again in my next post I hope you continue to do well!

Best wishes and lots of love,

The Inspiring Hummingbird
