"Trust the Process"

Hello lovely!

How are you? Let me know in the comments below!

I haven’t seen you since November or early December. I apologize for that! I will do an update post soon. Maybe after this one, so keep your eyes open for a post after this one! I am sitting on a couch in our house right now allowing myself to experience and process emotions that have come up for me. They aren’t happy ones but that’s ok! In choosing to sit with and process them the saying, “Trust the Process”, came into my mind. It got me thinking and made me want to write to you all. At least to anyone who may see this. This may not be worded perfectly, and I may be a little rusty, but I’m going to just let everything pour out from my heart however it wants to.

Often, it feels as though “trusting the process”, in theory, should be “easy”. Although, it is one of the things that is easier said than done. It is hard and can feel like it’s not worth doing. The truth of the matter is that choosing to “trust the process” does not mean we will not experience lows of various kinds still. Regardless of how big or small those lows are or feel. What “trusting the process” really means is still going on even when things feel stagnant. Continuing to push forward when things feel like they are confusing, frustrating, slow, etc. etc. It means we choose to trust in ourselves and something higher, no matter what that looks like for you, in the belief that we are on our way to whatever we are meant for or working towards. It’s not meant to be easy. It’s meant to be felt and experienced in every way, shape, and form it comes to us in. It’s even harder because we live in a society that makes everyone feel as though if you haven’t done, experienced, or gotten to a certain point in life by a certain age, or checkpoint, that you have “failed” at life. The fact of that matter is that's not true and everyone has their own timeline. When we choose to keep going and we choose to trust the path we are on, we are learning to trust ourselves in a sense. We are making the choice to say, “you know what, these feelings, thoughts, emotions that I don’t like have come up, but I trust myself and the choices I am making, and these feelings and thoughts will pass.” It means making a conscious decision to not give up on us and whatever the thing or things are that we are pursuing. By choosing to “trust the process”, we are choosing to put trust in ourselves and even possibly something greater than us. So, even when times get or feel rough, or moments occur where our brain is trying to tell us lies happen, don’t give up on you!

If you have made it this far and made the choice to read this blog post, I would like to believe this was meant for you to see. I hope this has touched your heart in some way and if you know someone who could use this message, please share it! I hope you continue to keep going and trust in yourself and your journey! No matter how hard, slow, confusing, frustrating, or whatever your feelings are right now in your journey. You’ve got this and you are exactly where you are meant to be. I love you so much and I hope you are doing well! If you are not well at this time, for one reason or another, I hope things begin to turn around for you soon! I love you very much and I am so glad you are here!

Best wishes and lots of love,

The Inspiring Hummingbird!

P.S. You really are EXACTLY where you’re MEANT to be and you’re not alone! You’ve got this!
